The regular tie wraps are often to short for the big jobs. But, trying to bind a large number of cables or dealing with very inflexible cabling could mean traditional tie wraps are no help at all. This is where the extra long tie wraps are very helpful! The straps are longer than usual, so it can suit big cables or multiple wires very smoothly.
Most of the time when you have cables all over your house or workspace, they tend to get messy due to which it becomes difficult for us in keeping them well managed. They get mixed up and a huge mess ensues. Instead, you then got extra long tie wraps so that it could be tidy and easy to maintain.
Then take an extra long tie wrap to secure each group of cables. Secure the tie around the wires and pull it tight to a close. The goal here is to snug, but not overly tight the tie. — Damage or squish your cables! This will help keep your cables out of harms way!
At times you might be dealing with a cable that is too large for the average tie wrap. This is common with power cords or Ethernet cables where there are a lot of connectors that need to come off. This can make these cables thicker and bulkier, which is annoying.
Well you will not have to worry about this though if the tie wraps are extra long! The excess length of these straps makes it possible to coil them around large cords which train keeping them fixed in position. You can just put all your oversized cables in them and that way they will not tangle, immensely helpful.
